Growing purple tree collard is, quite possibly, the very best selection you can make for planting your food supply. It yields continuously, abundantly, and healthfully. You're unlikely to be disappointed with this purchase.

"Why live cutting?" Answer: because it's much easier to plant these directly into soil from live cutting; they want real soil ("parent material") much more than the compost-rich environment of a nursery container, which is too unnatural to brassica plants. Select your spot; pre-dibble a hole; poke in the live cutting, and then immediately water and keep well-watered. (If desired, you may consult with grEnz to create an irrigation schedule specific to your soil type and garden context.)
